Windows: Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) installer version 0.7.12
Run the installer. Windows may warn about an unknown publisher: choose More info, then Run anyway. Setup opens in your browser when it finishes.

Open the package and follow the steps. macOS may say it cannot check the developer: open System Settings, Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.

Linux from a terminal:

Setup opens in your browser (or go to http://localhost:8011/setup on that computer).
Pick your media folders, then claim the server: scan its QR code with the PerliStream app, or type its code at connect.perlicom.com/claim.
Open the PerliStream app, sign in with the same account and press play.

A small icon in the system tray (menu bar on a Mac) shows the server's status, opens setup, adds folders and pauses sharing.
